ADMINS IN "TRAINING":
qeius / michinyo / orange-zombie / aparaitre / Theme by .☆ Kisty |
A few weeks later, the shop went out of business. A few months after that, they had to move away to the next state over. I knew logically, that this was probably going to happen no matter what, but I couldn’t help but think that what I had done was for naught. That my art was worthless, both in value and luck. Today, I was checking up on my friend’s sister, and noticed something in a photo of her room. Framed, on top of her dresser, was the drawing of the fairy I had drawn so long ago. They had kept it so long, even though it wasn’t “lucky”. Even though it wasn’t “worth” anything. I won’t lie, I cried. So, as trite and contrived as it sounds, even if you think your art is worthless, even if it never serves the purpose you intended it to, someone out there appreciates it. It means something to someone. Source of the pic is Doctor Who: Vincent and the Doctor. submitted by -valalaraptor
