“To be honest, I don’t know if I’d ever do commissions without actually needing money for a serious reason. I don’t feel like I’m good enough for them, and if I ever did do commissions I’d probably send the money to my favorite charity or something. Then I’d feel good about doing commissions for people, and be more motivated to finish them knowing it would be going to a good cause rather than to me, someone who has plenty of money.”

I might sound like I’m trying to seem all “Oh I’m a good humanitarian who selflessly donates to charity and saves the world” but I mean, I don’t need money from commissions and I’m not very motivated when I’m asked to draw something but perhaps If I felt like I’m letting someone down, like a charity, then I might be more motivated to finish it. I don’t think I’d deserve money for my art at the level it’s at anyway, I’d feel way to selfish especially when I have enough money to live comfortably right now.
