I think my worst fear is showing up on this blog.

I’ve gotta say, people are VERY critical of artists. From their personalities being “terrible” to their styles be “disgusting” or “generic” I just hate the idea of thinking as an artist I’ll be judged that heavily.

Now I know criticism is only meant to help me improve. But I don’t see how some anonymous idiot telling me my style is stupid or my personality is terrible helps me at all. Why my personality even concerns you is beyond me. If someone isn’t sunshiney or cheerful when they talk to you about a commission, that makes them a horrible person? Sorry that not everyone likes talking to people.

This blog is honestly my worst fear. I’m afraid of being praised or even mentioned as an artist on this blog. It’s pretty much the reason I never post my work on deviantArt anymore; people are such critical judges it scares me.
