None of you, not even the most professional or creative original fiction creator, has the right to be mad at people for calling their character “OC” (original character) instead of “FC” (fan character).

Yes, it’s true that FC is the politically correct term. However, many, many fans, even the talented ones, call them OCs. 

Why is there such a big fuss being thrown in the air about it? It’s not hard at all to tell the difference when someone is talking about their OC (when they mean original character for an existing creation) or OC (when they mean their own creation). 

Correcting people when they say OC instead of FC is horribly annoying and pointless.
